MHG Firmer Chisel with brown stained Hornbeam handle and polished blade. MHG Firmer Chisels are manufactured in Thuringen, Germany. The total length of the various chisels differs according to their width. For instance, the 6 mm chisel is 245 mm long, but the 26 mm chisel is 275 mm long. The blades have been sharpened and polished. The handle is made of brown-finished hornbeam. It is slightly flattened so that even the narrower chisels will not roll away or off a bench (this can be very bad for floor, chisel, and/or foot!) and the grip feels comfortable in one's hand. Sizes are in millimeters
