We guarantee a Rockwell hardness of 61 HRC in close tolerances over the entire useful length of the chisel. Each gouge is tested for hardness and edge retention.
The overall length is the usual for chisels, e.g. 245 mm long for size 10 mm and 275 mm for size 26 mm. The blades are polished.
The slightly flattened Ulmer handles are made of matt lacquered hornbeam and are very comfortable to hold.
