Mujingfang Hong Kong Style Shungee Rosewood Small Polishing Plane

This is a small fixed-mouth Hong Kong style polishing hand plane has its blade bedded at approximately 60° to minimize tear-out.
The wedged HSS blade is 30 mm wide and hardened to RC62-64 and the mouth has a brass insert for improved wear. Blade adjustment is done using light mallet taps to set angle and projection.
The Shungee rosewood body is 127 mm long, similar to a small block plane in dimension and can be used on a push or pull stroke.
A well-made, hand crafted plane, it is an excellent choice for working in tight spaces and can be used with handle in or out.
