These finely crafted block planes are designed for general purpose soothing and shaping, paring end grain, cleaning up components by removing thin shavings in order to make a component fit within tight tolerances, chamfering and cleaning up glue lines.

The Luban brand is manufactured by the Qiangsheng Tool Co., also spelt Quangsheng who are well known for producing high quality tools.
